Massage Therapy is one of the world’s oldest forms of healing. In fact, it shows up in medical text book and research dating back 4,000 years. The intern therapists in our clinic are the students from RMT program who have studied anatomy, physiology, assessment, and principle of massage therapy. And there are RMTs who give advice and supervise the intern massage therapist so that our clients have safe and effective care.
1. Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage reaches structures far beneath the superficial fascia in attempt to relieve chronic muscle problems or injuries.
This option is for those who are looking for a more general deeper pressure massage. Our targeted deep tissue massage treatment simply focuses on traditional soft tissue work. Benefits of this treatment include increased local circulation, pain, stress reduction and stimulation of the nervous system.
2. Relaxation Massage
Relaxation Massage is a Swedish Massage focused on decreasing muscle tension and calming the nervous system with an emphasis of leaving the patient with a relaxed and rejuvenated feeling.
