Bomi is most passionate about using the mind, body connection on helping people during the treatment, as well as helping to encourage her clients to return to their daily living with ease. She likes to work with the active and motivated person who can make all positive change with her. She assesses a client, try to identify root of a chief complaint, help to achieve treatment goals and emphasize how important homecare is.
She comes from a background of physiotherapy, which has heightened her passion to critically think, and to help or improve symptoms that her clients may be feeling. She was a physiotherapist for 7 years in Korea prior to coming to Canada in 2017. She has experience with various types of clients from treating clients with neurological disorders, as a physiotherapist. She also has experience with Kinesio Tape to help clients with pain relief, reducing swelling and inflammation, as well as for supporting injured muscles and joints. Some of the clients she has helped with neurological disorders are: Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Dementia, and Parkinson’s Disease. She has also had an opportunity to work at BC Women’s Hospital with “high risk pregnancy”, as a student massage therapist.
Outside of her studies, she loves to spend her free time outdoor activities such as: hiking, camping, boxing, skiing, scuba diving, and travelling. She also loves to listen to music and play the drums. Bomi is excited to start her career in Massage Therapy and looking forward to helping people better their lives.
