Tony Liang has been working in healthcare field over 20 years as a medical doctor in China and as a healthcare assistant for Vancouver Coastal Health prior to working as a registered massage therapist.
With a solid understanding and clinical experience in human anatomy, physiology and pathology, Tony Liang uses a scientific approach to assess and provide a treatment plan to meet each patient’s goal. He believes his techniques in myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, neuromuscular therapy infused with Swedish relaxation massage will promote human body’s natural healing process to recover from a pain or discomfort.
He enjoys educating patients on postural awareness, hydrotherapy, and exercise therapy that is appropriate to his patient’s condition. When he is not seeing patients, he loves spending time in lakes, biking and hiking at Burnaby mountain with his family.
